Last Spring we visited Watergate Bay Hotel, a fab hotel on the North Cornwall Coast. It is a great place to escape for a family holiday that ticks all the boxes for us: family activities in abundance, great food, a brilliant supervised kids' club, and lots of opportunities to relax and unwind!
It's a super stylish hotel with a laid-back beach vibe that doesn't allow it's family-friendly feel to compromise style. The rooms are fab (try and get one with a beach view) and the beds comfy!
The food is ace: our favourite place to eat at was The Living Space - a cool eatery overlooking the beach. I highly recommend the mackerel salad.
We had a mega walk along the coastline and would've signed up to the surf school had it been summer - something to go back for! It didn't really matter that we didn't get a sea fix as there's an indoor pool at Watergate Bay that overlooks the beach so you almost feel like you're in the sea anyways!
Ivy totally loved the kids' club which meant that Tim and I got to enjoy supper together and also a massage in the spa!
Oh and Jamie Oliver's Fifteen is next to Watergate Bay and it's worth booking a table there. Pasta, decor and views are perfect.
If you fancy reading more about Watergate Bay I actually wrote a little guest blog for them which you can find here.
